Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ADAPTA LAB processes personal data related to use of the store and orders.

3. Service providers and recipients
The store uses Shopify infrastructure for hosting, cart, checkout, customer accounts and functions related to orders and payments. To carry out deliveries, strictly necessary data may be communicated to the carrier used for the order. For Portugal, the logistical reference is CTT Express; for Spain, services appropriate to the destination may be used, including CTT Express or Correos Express.
The store may also use integrations made available through Shopify. Where an integration involves additional processing of personal data or non-essential technologies, that processing must comply with applicable information and consent requirements.
ADAPTA LAB does not sell personal data.
4. International transfers
Shopify may process data through its international infrastructure. Data transfers are carried out in accordance with the mechanisms and safeguards applicable to the service used. Further information is available in Shopify's privacy policy.
5. Retention
Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was processed and for periods required by legal, tax, accounting or legal-claims obligations. Technical retention periods for cookies and other technologies are described, where applicable, in the Cookie Policy.
6. Data subject rights
Under the GDPR, where applicable, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and object to processing, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
7. Security
The store is served over HTTPS and uses the security infrastructure provided by Shopify for functionality hosted on that platform.
8. Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with Portugal's Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), without prejudice to contacting ADAPTA LAB first so that we can try to resolve the matter.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated when the store's data processing or integrations change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
